Alumnus Donates $50,000 to Launch Endowment at J.R. Tucker High School
RICHMOND, VA – December 8, 2025 – The Endowment Project Foundation today announced a $50,000 gift from an anonymous alumnus of J.R. Tucker High School’s class of 1971 to establish a permanent endowment. The endowment will provide ongoing support for the school’s highest-priority needs, including faculty professional development, career and technical education programs, fine arts initiatives, and other critical programs that enrich the educational experience for all students.
Founded in 1962, J.R. Tucker High School in Henrico County has produced many notable graduates, including a former Virginia governor, the current governor-elect, Fortune 500 CEOs, Major League Baseball players, and television personalities.
